i wrote a lil' composition the other day. (the same day i posted WAKE UP SYLVIA)
someone close gave me a topic, to divert my attention. and to really wake me up.
i was really in a dilemma on how i was adapting and fitting into society.
and the title was. "How you think you could develop an attractive personality."

ohkay. i did start writing immediately. and i don't really deem it a composition, because my sentences were short and almost incomplete.
and i thought i should share it.
so here goes,

We like to have ourselves understood and appreciated, and sympathy is welcome to us all.
There are few people in this world who at some time or other do not actively need the sympathetic touch from somebody whom they have faith and confidence in. When they receive it, that person becomes attractive in their eyes, no matter what they external condition may be.
Whoever can touch successfully the deep strings of human feelings has already found the secret of attractiveness and personality. It is people who leave us cold whom we say they have no personality. But when we are warmed, encouraged and stimulated by companionship, even slightly, we know that we have found a fellowship which we desire.
Whenever we make an effort, no matter how modest the success is, we like to have the effort appreciated, by which we simply mean, given its real value. We wish to feel that what we've done is properly appraised.
Inwardly, people treasure and cherish the casual kind word, bright glance of cheer, and the warm glance of appreciation, and these form the basis of fresh effort and greater zeal, and they are the breeders of affection that never dies.
You need to be fresh, resilient, and abounding in vitality and force. Then you can spread courage and enthusiasm. It is remarkable what a vigorous physical power, scintillating with vitality does in general company. Things look brighter and the whole tone of assembly changes when such a person walks in.
You must be well, because only healthy people can function happily and help fully in social life or any other.
It loses itself in life of others. You must lose your life to save it.
When you are inherently a part of them by your abounding power, your charm, your sympathy, your appreciation and your fundamental spiritual integrity, you have then, and only then passed the stage of self interest, to the stage of mutuality and that you must do to make others feel that you are part of themselves and they then love you as a part of themselves.


after that, i blogged. and fell right asleep.
now when i think back,
i figured i was senselessly retarded.
HAHA.
but yeah.

Don't repel.
Be distinctive.
Inspire confidence.
