LIVE EARTH received negative comments.

and i kind of agree.
why?
because they are dumb enough to hold a 24 hour concert.
so what?
they are simply contradicting themselves.
i mean.
come on.
you're spreading the word-
to save the earth.
to save electricity.
stop global warming.
and you're wasting electricity on sound systems, air-conditioners, and lighting???
i think the amount of electricity used by all the concerts within that 24 hours is enough to let the globe survive for a few months and prevent a few more holes in the ozone layer.
moreover.
the songs the artistes sang,
had no connection ,
or what-so-ever,
to the main purpose of the concert.

so in the end.
i still feel,
that the 24 hour concert has not met its purpose.
it can be proven.
by the number of people wearing green on the 7th and 8th of july.

i know emotions and feelings are controlled by the brain.
but then again.
i always experience heart wrenches.
or at least.
recently.
and it comes very suddenly,
and lasts really long.
so it hurts quite a bit.
nope.
i do not happen to have a heart condition.
so i believe.
i must be hiding something hurtful from myself.
if not.
it wouldn't hurt so much.
correct?
