oh yes.i haven't updated my blog for a few days already.
i'm not sure why, because i've been drowning myself with boredom these days.
the boredom aside, i was rather disturbed.
include all those lousy results i'm getting.
16 for chemistry.
6 for geography.
i don't even want to think about social studies.
i'm going crazy soon.
i need to get good grades.
can someone tell me how?
=/
on the 3rd of this month we went for the music exhchange in Mayflower Secondary together with Pasir Ris Sec., Hua Yi Sec., Canberra Sec., and, of course, Mayflower.
Hua Yi was playing the same choice piece as us,
so i guess the whole band felt the pressure the moment they started making music.
and obviously, they did it better.
find all the excuses you can, but it is undeniable that they rock in their dynamics.
i've never paid much attention to those small italics found almost below every bar.
not until i heard them play.
so yeah.
this is what the real thing is.
but we fared pretty well.
debbie pitched the high G in the second bar faster than the trombonist in huayi.
HOORAY!
we got to do better. much better.
anyway the rest of the day was rather, depressing.
the little 'gathering' of the sections from all the schools turned out to be boring.
only one sec 5 girl from the host school came round to shake hands and introduce herself.
the rest of the time, we were.. the dullest creatures on earth.
yar. and then when we 'exhchanged' tokens.
pasir ris sec started passing round packets of sweets.
and then they started tossing.
then they started throwing without aim.
and then they started aiming and shooting.
oh yes.
and the floor was strewn with sweets.
....
and we sat there like idiots.
.......
but we managed to pass our packet of lollipops around.
=)
without them throwing it.
because i think they know the danger of the hard candy or perhaps do not wish to let their lollies shatter into pieces.
hahahs.
and yar.
theres nothing else worth mentioning apart from all these.
the band has embarked on their morning practices already.
i'm not quite sure what the practice is meant to serve as.
sure thing is, i look forward to stepping into the room first thing in the morning.
=)
yay.
60 days to go.
KEEP GOING!
let me see what spring is like in jupiter, and mars.
