they think, you might fall sick because you're out in the rain for 3 minutes.
they warn, you might be run over when you jaywalk.
they curse, you might be robbed when you roam the streets.
they swear, the house would be broken into if you open the door to strangers.
they bet, you'll have cavities if you don't brush your teeth at night.
they say, you'll have nightmares because you laugh too hard.

they, are parents.
maybe once you have a family,
you would probably have forgotten ;
that 3 minutes of rain won't make anybody fall sick, unless he or she is a weak kid.
that drivers are human too, and if anybody gets run down by them, they get jailed.
that robbers don't roam every street available.
that apart from the door, there's still the gate.
that cavities don't happen overnight.
and that nightmares don't occur, unless that retard did something against his own bloody conscience.

so perhaps their brain is rid of logic.



sometimes, when adults say forever,
