yesterday was HECTIC,as in SERIOUSLY HECTIC!
I woke up really early to have breakfast with my cousin at yakun coffeeshop.
had the usual delicious Kaya Toast and Iced milo.
so while i was ordering the breakfast sets, i realised they actually blended the milo in a ice blender for 3 seconds before serving.
i'm not exactly sure if it makes any difference to the actual taste of the drink,
but i know it was just a waste of electricity, EARTH'S DEPLETING RESOURCE.
xD
so i was happily chatting with my cousin over breakfast,
and we were discussing some details of the intriguing story of her love triangle,
when i realised i was running late.
in the end, i walked my cousin back home, waved hello to my aunt, my uncle and their Cute little, oh so cuddly, furry dog, and strolled home.
(YA, i strolled. so what if i was late? i just couldnt bare to let my delicious breakfast go to waste. hah)
by the time i was out of the house again, i knew i was going to be late by half an hour.
HEH- but i managed to console myself with my wrist watch.
see; it broke down a few days back as the battery went flat at 10 minutes to 9.
so, to cheer myself up, i referred to it every now and then, and deceived myself that it was still early! (how idiotic)
ah, so i reached the atrium exactly half an hour late for the meeting.
well, its just a group of us gathering to 'brainstorm' for ideas on how to 'create' a pretty looking booklet called- passport, for the freshmen (like me), coming for the compulsory BA Freshmen Orientation on the 9th of April, based on a theme they came up with.
so i guess we did have a lot of fun,
scanning and editing with Paint. (yes, its a really basic program for beginners like us, but who cares?)
we did manage to complete most of it together in the library!
i was in despair when i realised i was AGAIN, late for the parade at my secondary school, and i disappointed those lovable juniors of mine.
IM REALLY SO SORRY!
by the time i reached school, the parade was over and the prize presentation had already started in the school hall.
before i forget, CONGRATULATIONS YUEAN! =D
for achieving 4 A1s in your O Levels!
well, majority of my classmates went back- to claim prizes.
and I?
TO EAT at the BUFFET RECEPTION.
hahah!
i was seriously very hungry!
almost fainted due to low sugar levels and blood pressure.
(i skipped lunch unknowingly)
then we dillied, and dallied, and ended up at compass point at only 8?
not surprisingly, the mall was packed on a friday night!
there were long queues at every restaurant and eating outlet.
and by the time we got seats for 10 at a japanese restaurant, i had to scurry home.
(so i skipped dinner as well. :( )
ah, sadly, i departed from my friends reluctantly and made my way home.
had loads of fun chatting with YUEAN!
and i hope POW gets well soon. (your sexy voice is taking too long to heal! and the fried chicken wings dont help.)
i reached home- ON TIME (alas), and brought back some snacks to soothe the crouching tiger on the sofa(MY MUM).
i think it saved my ear drums for the night.
i was spared from those long and tedious nagging sessions as she was busy enjoying her drink!
so its a HECTIC DAY-
agreed?
LOL- hectic days without food are TERRIBLE to endure.xD
sorry DEBBIE! we'll meet up soon k!
I'm so sorry!!
We still have to practice for Con Fuoco II ya!
